OUR TARGET AUDIENCES – Children, Youth and Special Needs Adults

Over two years ago, on March 25, 2006, Blue Veil Ministry launched its’ first annual dinner/dance fundraiser. This event was called ‘Leap of Faith’ and was
not only the launch of Blue Veil’s first CD release, but was also the opportunity for Blue Veil to help and assist a MS recipient, by donating part of the monies raised at the fundraiser to purchase a special bed. Today, we've had the privilege to perform to over 75,000 young people this past year alone, touring elementary and secondary schools in the Catholic District School Boards of York, Toronto, and just recently Dufferin Peel Regions. We have also been privileged enough to run a retreat for elementary students in grade 7 and 8 supporting their religion program and helping these students who will be moving forward into a Secondary school.

With the help of a fourth band member, David Smith, Blue Veil Ministry performed 13 “Sounds of Christmas” concerts for over 10 schools in the YCDSB and offered a Magi-cal performance to all the students, staff and
parents that brought the Christmas story alive. The “Sounds of Christmas” was also the band’s 2nd CD release.
